  1. How do you define the thickness of the sheetmetal when creating a sheetmetal part? My text refers to a Thickness Parameter Value which I cannot find in Inventor 2015 Contour Flange. I want to create this item in 10mm plate but I cannot even set it to 1mm sheetmetal. Is there any limit of sheetmetal thickness? PB01-04-001 Press Frame.ipt
  2. Hi all. I'm new to inventor, particularly working with sheetmetal. I have a model Im working on. Its basically a cover for an item. It comprises of three parts that will be welded together. the 'Body section is a flat piece of sheet metal that is folded 7 times with the weld making the eighth corner. Size of each face is (in mm) 20-30-20-67-20-30-20-67. height is irrelevant for the purpose of this post. Thickness of the sheet is 1.3mm. the fold angle is 45 degrees I've created 7 folds on the sheet and I'm basically got one edge overlapping into the middle of the face at the other end of the sheet. I want to create a weld along these two faces but I cant figure out how to align the two ends of the body in order for me to create a weld. Any help would be much apreciated Cheers Dean

    adjust bend notes

Hello, I've got a problem with the bendnotes. I want to change the angle it displays, because our pressbrake uses an angle of 135 degrees instead of the 45 degrees in Inventor. For the standard angles it is no problem, but if you use somthing like 42 degrees a mistake is easely made.
