  1. I've been trying to understand if it's legal & possible to sell 6 AutoCAD 2019 standalone perpetual licenses for hours now and getting virtually nowhere. I provided IT support for a small engineering firm in Canada that's shutting down as one of the owners passed away and have been tasked with selling off any computer related assets. Information on perpetual licenses on Autodesk's site seems to be well hidden, and elsewhere, I'm finding a lot of conflicting information. I saw a thread (I think it was on this forum) a few hours ago regarding EU regulations that I wanted to come back to, but darned if I can find it again. If anyone can point me towards accurate information for Canada, it would be most appreciated. Also if it's possible, what's a fair price?
  2. I've been looking for a routine that will allow me to transfer an attribute from one block to another. Ideally I'd like to click on one block which contains the attribute I want (from a field called ID_1), then click on another block and copy the attribute to another specific field (ID_2). I need to do this to quite a few blocks so I'd like to just continue to click between the two types of block. I thought I could modify the code on this page http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?32085-Need-Lisp-to-update-attributes, but this appears to place the same attribute on every block I click. Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Transfer

OK: I am moving my 2006 AutoCAD (full version) to a new computer.. I'm keeping my 2006 version, so this is not an upgrade situation.. Is there any step by step instructions on how to move your "profile" to the new computer so I don't have to go through and setup everything like I like it again ?? I also have some customized toolbar items as well. I tried the import/export profile command under options, but that didn't seem to work.. I imported my profile into the new computer, but it didn't change the toolbar at all.. So I didn't know if there were step by step instructions that would help with this transfer or can that even be done.. I have already loaded the AutoCAD onto the new computer and it opens and runs fine, except it is not setup like my old profile and toolbar.. Thanks kim
  4. I am trying to export my AutoCAD MEP 2013 license from one computer to another but once I start the License Transfer Utility I get this message: Your online activation request has returned an error (800c0005) which is not allowing your request to be processed using our automated systems. Immediately after clicking sign in on the first screen. I saw somewhere else to try setting IE as my default browser but that did not work either. I have a DELL Latitude laptop running Windows 7. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Attached should be a print out of my error page.
  5. Hi Guys I have recently bought autocad 2012 for mac after years on 2006 on windows. I have lots of custom blocks that I have made over the years and want to transfer them to my mac version. On previous versions it used to be simple customize/transfer tab/ then open. This version does not appear so simple! If someone could help it would be much appreciated!! Thanks!!
  6. My laptop crashed with 2005 but I still have the disks with my drawings stored in them. The 2005 is so old it won't load onto Win7 in my new laptop. But I do have a friend who has 2009. Can I still access my drawings. Thank you.....
