I dont know what i'm doing wrong....we'll get a set of drawings in...i'll do a page setup on the first page and then go to "publish"..I'll select all my drawings and import the setup from that first drawing i created the page setup on...But this doesnt work. Is there something i'm doing wrong or some step i'm missing?

Are these separate drawing files, or layouts within the same file?

Did you modify the existing page setup to use your plotter? If so, selecting that page setup for the other drawings will call up their individual versions of the page setup. Here's my guess at what you're experiencing. All the files have the same page setup, say, named 24X36. You change page setup 24X36 for the first drawing to use your plotter. When you publish you select all the files, and change the page setup to 24X36. And what actually comes out is the first file and error messages for the rest. If this describes your problem, you'll need to change the plotter in the page setup for each of the files. It may be possible to automate this through a script run at File->Open, but I don't know of any and have precious little script writing experience.

yup. thats what i did and thats what happens. i thought there would be an easy way to plot a set of drawings from someone else with our setting imported into all the drawings without me having to go one by one....Yea, I dont know how much luck i'd have writing my own script to do this..

Scott,

All you need to do is when the publish dialog box is populated click on the top drawing that has the correct page setup (if that drawnig is not on top drag it to the top). press ctrl + A to select all the drawings in the list, and then select the drop down box for the page setup and select the correct one. This will set that page setup from the top drawing to all of the next drawings.
