JamFam
Hello everyone. I am looking for a .dwg file for the TORX head stainless steel screws. I am needing the .dwg file of a 144mm long Torx stainless steel wood screw. If anyone has this specific fastener in a .dwg file or knows where I can "freely" download it, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance. JamFam Coquitlam / British Columbia

JamFam
The reason I don't draw the torx screws myself is because I don't have any of the specs necessary to accurately draw it. Do you of any tutorials for drawing screws? Thanks
ReMark
Find a manufacturer's website and see if they have a CAD drawing available or check over at the CAD Block Exchange Network. Links to tutorials about drawing screws have been posted here from time to time. JD Mather has a tutorial at his website and I know Ellen Finkelstein has done one as well. ReMark
Maybe if you had used the correct terminology. You used the trade name of TORX as opposed to the common name hexalobular. See this: http://mdmetric.com/tech/Internal%20dimensions%20of%20hexalobular%20screws%20(DIN%20EN%20ISO%2010664).pdf
JamFam
Thanks ReMark for the advice and suggestions, not to mention the "correct" terminology. I will check out the CAD Block exchange network and search for any tutorials here and post my findings. Have a great weekend.
