QUESTION 2:

I re-installed ACAD Architecture 2008 on my computer and I noticed that when I draw a line, or more and object its not a smooth move/transition. I don't know how to describe it, but it almost seems sketchy. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance guys!!

Mouse problems?

Do you think it's a mouse problem? I have a Laser mouse and CAD is the only program that I have an issue with.

Posted

That could be a clue right there. What mouse are you using?

ReMark, Sorry for bring up an old post, but I just found the notification for this one after cleaning out my inbox.

I have a Logitech LX3 Optical Mouse. It only CAD I have this issue with.

A month later and still a problem huh? Possibly driver related?

Hmm, good thought let me see if there is an update.

Well I installed the newest driver and software, but I still can as smooth as I use to. And on top of that now my PAN is messed up.

I was just thinking...did you change the refresh rate of your monitor?

Try to increase it...

Posted

Would that do anything? I mean CAD is the only program I have a mouse issue with.

I had a simillar problem 3 years ago when I changed a monitor.

Autocad was the only program with a problem. I increased the refresh rate (crt monitor) to 75hz and...magic!

Posted

My monitor is currently set a 75 Hz.

Can you please tell me, or image capture the settings of your options/display menu?

I checked all your settings...they appear to be OK.

So then what would cause my PAN to be messed up as well? It started lagging.

Is this happening when you work with 3d objects in isometric environment, or it happens also with 2d - plan view?

Posted

2D plan view

I was afraid that you'd said that, lol.

Can you please do me a favor and play a bit with your refresh rate, just to exclude it...

How do i change it?
