beny0124 Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Hi, I have two same drawings, but one of the drawing been rotated. and i want to make it so that it matches exactly, but i have no idea how much to rotate, and where to make my base point. is there any way i can match them exactly? main problem is to find the base point of the rotation, i think. please help ASAP. thank you Quote
hoss Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 If they are exactly the same, why not use "align" and rotate one to match other. If not sure how to do this, ask and I will explain in more details. Quote
beny0124 Posted August 25, 2009 Author Posted August 25, 2009 I would very appreciate if you explian about align command. Thank you Quote
ReMark Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 And that's why your first reaction should always be to open AutoCAD Help and using the Index type in the keyword Align. The Align Command is covered as a topic. ALIGN Aligns objects with other objects in 2D and 3D Click on the Procedure tab. Two choices are given. One of them is called To align two objects in 2D. My suggestion is that you read it. Any further questions come back here and ask. Quote
beny0124 Posted August 25, 2009 Author Posted August 25, 2009 I figured it out using align.Thank you very much. it worked. Quote
