How to taper faces

Try with Solidedit>Face>Rotate

If you try to modify just a corner, draw a line first and use Solidedit>Face>Imprint to create the edge. After that you can rotate the face around that.

Enter in the command line SOLIDEDIT

AutoCAD will prompt you to select an option. Enter F for face, and R at the next prompt.

Now AutoCAD will ask you the faces to rotate. Click the face I marked with A in the drawing and press enter.

As rotation axis click the end points B and C. Finally enter the desired angle -I entered 15 (I think) fallowed by an enter.

If you wish to draft only a part of the face, first draw the line L (on the initial solid!) and use the sequence Solidedit>Body>Imprint to make a new edge on the solid. After that, proceed as above.

Or you can create an other solid and SUBTRACT it from the one you have to cut down the corner.

But I think the CHAMFER is the shortest way.
