Very slow

Hi

My cad has been changed from 2008 mechanical to 2010 mech.

I am experiencing very slow response to some of following commands,

1) Text edit (if I right click and then edit its okay but if I double click on text, it takes long time to open text window)

2) Plot – Everything just freezes for few seconds, again changing printers etc takes time)

3) Changing from model to paper space and vice versa

4) Editing in paper space

Please let me know if there is solution to this. I am just trying to get use to 2010 version, I do mostly electrical drawings.

When you made the jump from 2008 to 2010 did you check the minimum system requirements as suggested by AutoDesk?

When you installed Mech 2010 did you also install Update 1? If you did not then you need to go here, download the update and install it.
