hogfan1978 Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Hi, I'm having trouble with objects showing through objects that are immediately in front of other objects. It almost looks like distortion, but when the objects are moved away from one another, the look normal. Any ideas on getting this cleared up? I've attached an example of what I'm talking about. I've already tried regen'ing and redrawing the objects to no avail. Thanks in advance, Ryan Quote
ReMark Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Sometimes this type of display points to a graphics card that does not have the capacity to handle the graphic output. Quote
hogfan1978 Posted December 4, 2009 Author Posted December 4, 2009 ReMark, I was kinda thinking that. I'm on a laptop which is several years old. Quote
ReMark Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 A laptop? Does this laptop have a GPU (graphics processing unit) on the motherboard or a dedicated graphics card? If it has a GPU there isn't much you will be able to do about it. Remember that GPUs tend to steal resources when they have maxed out their limited memory. That's when performance starts to take a hit. How much RAM on this laptop? Do you know what the settings are for virtual memory (min. and max.)? Quote
