farrous13
Hello, I have a simple question (dunno how simple it might be:roll:). I have a 2D drawing for a machine with multiple parts. However, we use this machine a lot and it is annoying to move this machine from one layout to another because of the many parts it has. Does anyone know how to combine it to one complete part. Any command I should use? I tried "Boundary" but its not helpful. Thank You!
ReMark
You could use the Group command and then Copy/Paste it into the other drawing or WBlock the machine out (parts and all) and then Insert it in the other drawing as a block.
totzky
My suggestion: XREF.
CadDan
I don't know if this would work, but you can try Region.
stevsmith
My suggestion: XREF. If you were to use xref, then it would be better to have all the components in individual files. Personally, I wouldn't use xrefs.
iskalipsi
I think xref might work just fine.I have tried using xref in my previous work and i have no problems dealing with it.
