I need to select 2 points A, B on the boundary of the plot

1. AB is perpendicular to road next to Srinivas College with A being opposite Srinivas College and B at the opposite boundary (Subash Nagar).

2. The area of the plot comprising the segment AB as boundary together with the narrow portion (towards Hampankatte) should be 971.245 sq metres and the remaining area (abuting the road to Subashnagar) should be 1174.80 sq metres.

Please email the file to cjrego@gmail.com

Thanks in advance.

I'm sure someone here will get right on that problem and solve it for you post haste. In the meantime, what is your billing name and address?

All kidding aside. That's a tall order you placed there don't you think?

What problem are you running into that you cannot solve it yourself?

Need to select 2 points on the boundary and the resulting areas should be as specified. and AB should be perpendicular to the segment of the bdry on which A lies.

POINTS SPECIFICATION:

(A) on the bdry which lies along the road with the text To Hampankate

(B) on the opposite side.ie: nearer to Subashnagar.

Just for the heck of it let's call the top of the drawing north thus placing Srinivas College to the east. I can subdivide the land into two segments (line AB would then be running rougly east/west) with the northern portion (the narrow end) comprising 971.3356. Is that close enough?

Exactly - and AB perp to the eastern bdry...

OK...I got it down to 971.2298 with AB perp (90 deg) to the eastern boundary.

If you round everything off that comes out to about a 0.02 difference. Unless someone is reviewing the drawing in AutoCAD and uses the Area command to check it the difference will be virtually unnoticeable. I doubt the surveyor would even be able to lay it out that exactly.
