criscris27
Hy! I am a beginner in Autocad, so i am following the steps as the tutorials say, but still i couldn't manage to draw a rectangle: i used the polyline and the 'c' disappeared when i pressed 'enter' . Why is that happening? C
lpseifert
If I understand what you're asking... Enter exits the command; if you want to 'Close' the polyline hit 'C' then Enter... or use the rectangle command
criscris27
i type 'c' and then i press 'enter', but soon after i press enter the 'c' disappears and the rectangle isn't closed
lpseifert
How about a screen shot of what you've drawn prior to hitting 'C' 'Enter'?

rkent
on the last line of the command where it shows *cancel*, there should be a C there. When you get to that point you should type the letter C and hit enter or space bar. Or right click and pick close there.
