How can I get DWG's to show up in renders?

Ok, it's hard to tell sometimes. Lots of people post Autocad questions in here. And then I saw under your name that you're using Revit, so I had to make sure. :P

You can render 2D CAD linework, but it may be difficult to see, depending on its distance from the camera.

In order to show linework in a render, select it and then go to the Modify panel and go to the "Rendering" section. There is an option called "Enable in Renderer". Put a check in that box.

Also, if you put a check in the other option, "Enable in Viewport", this will give the linework volume which will help it to display in your render. You can increase or decrease the volume by playing with the "Thickness" option.
