simple question re. attaching images

Recommended Posts

We regularly attach product pictures to our drawings prior to sending them to clients.

Thanks to the help received on here, I think we may have solved a problem with those images not being visible once sent. Particularly the use of e-transmit.

However the details on the tutorial are slightly different to the options I appear to have available when it comes to the "path type".

Am I correct that I should be selecting "no path" ?

Do your clients need *.dwg files?

I often add image(s) to *.dwg files, print to *.pdf, and email away.

The *.pdf files are much smaller that AutoCAD *.dwg files, transmit and receive much faster.

It depends upon who we are dealing with and at what stage of the project, but we need the option to send both .pdf and .dwg

Open the dxf file, save to AutoCAD *.dwg.

The *.dwg'll easily print to a *.pdf file. 8)
