designerstuart Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 i have a drawing with two mtext entities in - but only one of them acts normally when i change its "justify". if i use the properties box, the grip on the dodgy one moves, but the text itself remains in its current justification. i have to open the mtext editor and click the justification boxes in there, then it works. nothing major, but annoying. why does one work fine but the other not? thanks JUSTIFY.dwg Quote
lpseifert Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 If you select the 'WON'T JUSTIFY' In Properties > Contents you can see the justification (\pxql;) is 'hard coded', usually done in the mtext editor. Quote
designerstuart Posted July 6, 2010 Author Posted July 6, 2010 great - you've found the source of my problem! now how do i undo all the hard-coded text i have?! thanks Quote
lpseifert Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 go to theSwamp.org and do a search for StripMtext ( http://www.theswamp.org/index.php?topic=31584.0 ). You may need to register first, but it's free. Quote
