Hi

Here is my problem.

When I open up AuyoCad 2000, it goes to a new drawing.

It use to open a small window o let me pick either standers or metric dimensions.

How can I git it back to where it will?

Thank you for your time.

IF you mean type it in the command space, it didn't work.

I hate to reload AutoCads back in, because it might change all my setting,

I an going to try to start my computer at an earlyer date and see if that works.

TODAY was not introduced until 2004. Try the system variable STARTUPTODAY, although I don't think this was around until 2000i..

Poke around in the Options dialog if STARTUPTODAY is invalid. I don't have access to 2000 any more...

Reloading AutoCAD probably won't help, but even if you did, you won't lose any settings unless you specifically remove user created files/registry settings.

A reinstall simply replaces program files with the original.
