rktyler
This started yesterday out of the blue, and I'm not sure why my backup files (.bak), are showing up with an Adobe Acrobat icon to the left, instead of the familier white sheet of paper icon, and I did'nt change anything in options, so this has got me stumped, and its probably an easy fix, (I hope) any help would be appreciated. CyberAngel
Your system is identifying all files with that extension as Acrobat files. You may be able to change it in any Windows Explorer window by going to Tools|Folder Options|File Types. It's possible that only your system administrator can change it. What probably happened is that you upgraded Acrobat (or it upgraded itself), and the new version now makes .bak files. AutoCAD will still make and restore backups.
