kblinn Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 My title might not be the most descriptive but as aself taugh user I dont know what the function was that I was taking advantage of. In the past I have used many versions of Autocad most recently autocad 2005 before switching to 2010. I noticed in 2010 when in the line command with dynamic input on or off it seems when I hit the up arrow trhe coordinates of the last point drawn show up in the command bar and the dynamic input window by the cursor. This however is not what I am used to. In 2005 and earlier versions I have used hitting the up arrow would cycle through reently entered dimensions, rather than coordinates of points. So say if drawing a 4'x4' square .. I only had to type 4' once and then just hit the arrow up everytime i wanted to type 4'. That might not seem like much, but when the imnput is more complicated like @4'-3-15/16 Thanks Quote
rkent Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 INPUTHISTORYMODE, try a setting of 6. Remember you can type a few letters and start hitting tab. Quote
kblinn Posted November 10, 2010 Author Posted November 10, 2010 Thanks rkent. That worked great .. I had a setting of 15. Does anyone know what the numbers actually mean (im always curious to learn new things), like what 1,2,3,etc.. do. Quote
nestly Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 INPUTHISTORYMODE Bitcode, add the numbers together. 15 is all the modes turned on. Quote
