Kremer
Hey there, In California we now have to use Sweep 90 Elbows on our plumbing, our firm has decided to move to sweep 90's regardless of the location of the project. My question is, is there a way I can change the default pipe fitting for "Glued" piping from the default elbow to the quarter bend? I know I can change it in the dialog box (In Fitting Settings) as I am drawing the piping, but when I am finished with the command it reverts back to elbows. tzframpton
type STYLEMANAGER at the Command Line. On the left, expand Piping Objects > Pipe Part Routing Preferences > [select pipe part definition]. Then on the right, select the Preferences tab. You can select the default part under "Elbow". Hope this helps. Oh and what you'd want to do is not perform this in the drawing, but change this setting in your default Template so the changes are made from this point forward every time you start a new drawing. dumfatnhappy
whilst being a plumber in Fla decades ago it was code (national?) to use sweeps (long bends) in the flat and quarter bends in the vertical for *all* DWV..... that not the norm everywhere (except possibly Maine?)
