Jamesbowyer
Is it possible to render the image from a camera? And if not, what is the point of them?! I can get the camera window up, but then no idea how to render from it. If I simply press render, it renders what is currently in the viewport, and the advanced render settings have nothing about rendering camera views. Help!! shift1313
When you render i believe there are two different render buttons, render and render region. try the region. i have never tried it. on older versions you would have a drop down box in the render window but im not sure on 08-
Noahma
when I have a camera up, I right click on it, and then set to current and render from there
Jamesbowyer
when I have a camera up, I right click on it, and then set to current and render from there Is that right click on the camera itself or the camera window? I tried right clicking on the camera window, and got nothing, but haven't tried the camera itself.

Go to Cadclips.com and watch the video tutorial about Cameras.
CaddJax
Is it possible to render the image from a camera? Yep. Set your cameras up as you want them. In the cmd line: View select the camera of choice as 'Current' - OK Your screen will be set to the current camera's view, Render away.
