Hi all

I cant seem to get the clean command to do anything

it asks whether i want [imprint/seParate solids/Shell/cLean/Check/Undo/eXit]

so i type "L"

it says select object

i click the solid

it says [imprint/seParate solids/Shell/cLean/Check/Undo/eXit] again...

can anyone point me in the right direction?

cheers

Marcus

CLEAN

Remove redundant faces, edges, and vertices from a 3D solid, and verify whether the 3D solid is valid.

I don't see "lines" listed unless you used the wrong terminology.

How did you verify that CLEAN did not work?

Attach the file here - I suspect you are after something entirely different.

What is your goal with this - a 2D drawing?

dispsilh for 3D?

More information is needed about these "lines".

Try hitting the F1 button...I did it for you this time.

To remove redundant lines from a 3D solid object

1.Click Modify Solid Editing Clean. At the Command prompt, enter solidedit. Then enter b (Body) and L (cLean).

2.Select the 3D solid object.

3.Press Enter to complete the command.
