Adobe PDFmaker (Batch Plotting) vs Autocad 2011

We have Adobe Acrobat Pro which has a plugin to allow batch plotting of PDFs from multi-sheet drawings. Works awesome in Autocad 2009 and before.

It DOES NOT work with Autocad 2011! (Waaaahhhh!!) :x:(:x

Does any one know how to make it work or a suitable workaround?

We have drawings with 70 sheets and it's nice to print the entire document

to a single PDF in one step. Takes less than one minute in Acad09. Nice!

Does PUBLISH do this? I saw another thread where Publish creates other issues.

Help! Help! Help!

Thx!

Yes, PUBLISH can do this, using the built in DWGtoPDF.PC3 file.

We do this daily here. Although we primarily use Sheet Set Manager to initiate the publishing act, using plain PUBLISH will work just as well.

I don't see how to call this .pc3 file!!

How can I do this with a directory of drawings with who knows what plotter setups??

A little handholding requested please!!

You can add Layouts from multiple files. Click the "Add Sheets" button just above the Sheet Name column when you initiate the PUBLISH dialog box.

There is a substantial piece of this puzzle either missing or something...

1) I pick PUBLISH from the menu

The dialog appears

2) I pick the (+) to Add Sheets

I select the desired drawings

3) Under Page Setup the only options I have are

Default: None

Import....

4) I pick Import...

The only file types listed are: (.dwg/.dwt/.dws/.dxf)

I don't see where to pick the DWGtoPDF.PC3?

Am in looking in the wrong place.

I mean I REALLY DO NOT UNDERSTAND!!
