boxcarbum91 Posted July 8, 2011 Share Posted July 8, 2011 Hi, I'm trying to extrude a 2d detail that I found on a manufacturer's website. I want to make it 3d. Whenever I click inside the block, I select the geometry I want to extrude and enter 8'. I can tell by comparing the extruded mullion to the 2D linework that it doesn't extrude to 8'. However, when I measure it, the dimension claims it extruded to 8'. When I save and exit the block editer, I measure it again and its 3 25/32". I made it work by exploding the block and extruding it in model space. I just want to know why this is happening and how to avoid it in the future. Thank you!
