I want to load more DIM styles besides the Standard,

on my list there is only one available?

Standard is the default. Have you created additional dim styles?

No there are not. You must create your own. Begin by opening up Dimstyle Manager and clicking on New.

 

There is one other way. Do you have access to other AutoCAD drawings perhaps done by someone else that contains a dimstyle you like?

If you have access to a drawing created by someone else you can use the Dimstyle Export command found under Express Tools > Dimensions. There is also a Dimstyle Import command as well.

Do you have Express Tools installed?

You can also drag and drop dimension styles from one drawing to another using Design Center.

Express Tools > Dimensions > Dimstyle Import.

You could also use design center. CTRL + 2. It's usefull to bring in any information you need from another drawing.
