Doubleclicking a .dwg opens Acad 09 again. Not as a window in currently opened Acad

I'm a bit confused with the new interface in Acad 09. How do I make .dwg's open in the same window I already have open?

maybe he's asking how to open multiple dwgs in autocad 09. i'm experiencing it also. when i open another dwg file, another autocad 09 will start.

succu8us is right. When I open a .dwg, a new acad 09 starts.

How do I set it to open in the current window?

Its no problem in Acad 07.

Is your CAD2009 just recently installed and as default set that way?

Its usually preset already to SDI=0

It came with Inventor 2009, but I have not used it before now, because I usually draw 2D with 2007 LT. It was installed like this.

Well, that didn't work. I typed in SDI and the preset was already at 0. I tried both 1 and 0 but it still opens files in a new Acad application.

I don't have 2009 (installed) but I think you need to set TASKBAR = 1 too. There have been some recent posts.

I have TASKBAR = 0, and SDI = 0 and these seem to work fine
