I have been using this Lisp (attached) before without any dialog box appearing. I have a lot of lisp that i used without the dialog box appearing.

I understand that i can edit the LISP and put -sign on the commands to suppress the dialog boxes. But i have a lot and tracing each one of then is time consuming

But now, all of a sudden, when i used these Lisp (any some of my lisp too) dialog box appears!

what could have happen? I couldn't trace which setting or system variable was changed

I've tried Filedia (but i need filedia set to 1)

Attdia is for attributes

Expert is set to 3

any ideas?

RBLOCK.LSP

MNL.lsp

Well, the variable that controls dialogue boxes is FILEDIA - perhaps something else changed your default setting for the variable?

its working fine before eventhough FILEDIA is set to 1

i need it set to 1 for easy opening and saving of dwgs.

any other sysvar related to this?

Finally found the answer!

QAFLAGS must be set to 0

i ran a lisp i've downloaded somewhere

and it sets QAFLAGS to 1 and does not reset it back.

Huh. That's a new one! And I don't find anything in Help or SYSVDLG about it either.

Glad you found it mate :)
