maratovich Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 It was not me. How can I increase the length up to 20000? In general, how is this done? Pipe.dwg Quote
Dadgad Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Welcome to the forum. There are lots of ways this could be done. If you look at the image you will see that I have chosen an isometric perspective, and clicked on the end face of the ROD, it is not a pipe, as it has no hole. Having clicked on it, there is a small blue grip which I have circled in red. You can click on that and pull it in the direction of the arrow to lengthen this extruded solid shape. Quote
maratovich Posted October 28, 2012 Author Posted October 28, 2012 How to pull the tube I know. The question is how to pull the tube up to 20000? It can not be withdrawn. The most important thing - to use Flatshot, you can automatically get the pipe axis. How to make such an axis for the other elements? Quote
ReMark Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Did you try the method previously suggested using grips? Quote
maratovich Posted October 28, 2012 Author Posted October 28, 2012 Yes, I used this method. Length is increased to 10000, and more impossible. Quote
maratovich Posted October 28, 2012 Author Posted October 28, 2012 Do you work? I have AutoCAD 2009 Pipe length as 10000 and 20000 have Quote
ReMark Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Are you asking if I can get this to work on my computer? Quote
maratovich Posted October 28, 2012 Author Posted October 28, 2012 Yes. Try to increase the pipe greater than 10000. I can not. What to do to increase it. Quote
ReMark Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Give me a few minutes to fire up AutoCAD. What diameter is the "pipe"? Quote
maratovich Posted October 28, 2012 Author Posted October 28, 2012 It is necessary to increase the length of the pipe that is in the meme file - post number 1. I have attached a file to the message. Diameter of 108 mm. Need length 20 m Quote
ReMark Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 How did you construct this so called pipe? It doesn't look like it was a circle that was extruded or swept. Quote
maratovich Posted October 28, 2012 Author Posted October 28, 2012 This pipe is not mine. I want to use this tube at home. I downloaded the database details from the site, there was this pipe. Quote
ReMark Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 What is so special about this tube? It does not even display as a tube or a hollow pipe. Although it is identified as a solid you can't even union it to another copy of itself. Quote
maratovich Posted October 28, 2012 Author Posted October 28, 2012 Run the command Flatshot. Automatically appears axis of the tube. I want to do such things myself, but don `t know how. Quote
ReMark Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 I ran Flatshot and the result is pretty much what I would expect from running the command on any 3D solid. So what? What good is this 3D pipe if you can't union it or change its length? Quote
maratovich Posted October 28, 2012 Author Posted October 28, 2012 Short sections of pipe in handy. But sometimes the right length. Quote
ReMark Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 I'm not understanding you. I think it's a language thing. Kind of a strange way to create a tube: four arcs and four vanes (interior) plus a separate circle with a tick mark at each quadrant. Quote
