Rescale entire scene?

I've no idea what happened but the scene I'm working on suddenly has been rescaled. All objects are still proportional to each other but they've been scaled down by about 2.5 times. My best guess is that it may have been one of the models imported into the scene. I dont really know what I clicked on. My question is, is there anyway to scale my whole scene back up? I know I can just select all then manually scale each axis by 250% but I'd think there's gonna be slight error margin. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :)

There are 2.54 centimeters to one inch. Does 3DS MAX have units like AutoCad? I don't know having never used it. If it does, then simply change the units back to inches.

If it is not your units that are giving you the problem, then scale up by 2.54 and see what happens. Don't forget to lock the aspect ratio, or at least scale both x and y up by the same factor.

Failing the above to be a solution, if you have part of your scene that is a known size in at least one direction, draw a square to that height and width and place it so it is visible over that part of your scene, then scale the scene up until it fits nicely in the square. Of course you have to be able to scale the scene independently of the square.

Thank you so much for the reply. Yes, my scene was scaled down by exactly 2.54 times. I have changed system unit to inches though I was working on cm, being an architectural model and all. The model is now scaled up again. Thing is, I'd like to keep the system unit as cm, is there any way to do so without scaling the current scene?

i cant try this, maybe it works

what i believe is... if checked off it will force files to take on your system setup, instead of the one that came with your file.
