Jason vandy bogurt
I have been using AutoCAD for quite some time and this is leaving me stumped. I am doing an assembly drawing in Inventor and placed a component from a website that i exported. IT has come in HUGE like i think 4 or 5 times normal size. It is just a PC Holder and it is bigger than my machine. So my question is how do you scale down a component that you brought it to make it the right size?? JD Mather
I am confused about whether the problem is with AutoCAD or is it with Inventor?

JD Mather
I am doing an assembly drawing in Inventor and placed a component from a website that i exported. Assembly drawing would be *.idw or *.dwg correct? (an assembly is *.iam and is not a drawing) Are you placing a 2D or a 3D dwg? ("part too big" would seem to indicate 3D part, not 2D) more information is needed.
Patrick Hughes
Most importantly, what is the file extension of the component you downloaded?
