heartache
Hey everyone) I'm a new 3ds max user, so there are a lot of stuff I'm trying to learn right now. I'm trying to import a autocad file which has multiple drawings(all 2d) so when I import them, they are like a block, and when I want to extrude one object, it extrudes all of them ... + when extrudes it appears black, and I can't succed to change the material.... Could anyone please tell what's the proble and help me solve it ))?

Raudel Solis
if you have floor plans just plot your drawings to a high res .jpg file and set as a material on a plane the same size as the actual structure. then create new geometry in max using basic primitives & AEC extended objects
Cad64
Why redo the work if the floor plan has already been drawn in Autocad? Just import the CAD 2D linework and extrude.
Raudel Solis
i dont know how his scene is? my thoughts would be that the objects extruded would be missing a bottom "hollow" also maybe the scene is one hell of a mess with no layers
