Ajcraig99
Hi, I am trying to work out the best way to show 2-3 different views of a 3d model, i tried by creating two viewports but am kinda stuck about how to proceed, is there a better method to have my views aligned nicely? Im having trouble uploading the .dwg so i hope my explanation is clear enough. Im using Autocad 2013. Thanks
rkent
VIEWBASE command would be a good place to start.
Ajcraig99
VIEWBASE command would be a good place to start. That makes it easy seems to make viewports redundant, is VIEWBASE a suitable replacement for viewports?
ReMark
Viewbase will create all views in your layout as opposed to creating them in model space. In my opinion Viewbase is not a substitute for a viewport. A viewport is merely a window that allows us to see the objects we have created back in model space whether those objects are 2D or 3D.
