helpme Posted April 24, 2013 Share Posted April 24, 2013 Hi i created a column in the family creation when i place it in model and when i use the command attach top base the column i created is not attaching to the top level, like the default familes does which is provided by the autodesk. tzframpton Posted April 24, 2013 Share Posted April 24, 2013 Did you constrain the geometry to both the Upper Ref. Level, and Lower Ref. Level in the Front View? I believe this is needed for the Attach Top/Base to work. I've never created a column family from scratch but I'd assume this is why it's not working.
