Rage221677 Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 When you update your AutoCAD with the newest Service Pack, where exactly is that file stored? How do I locate that file? Thank you in advance for any help!!! Quote
MSasu Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 You can find it at Autodesk's official site or may call your reseller. Quote
ReMark Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 You can browse to the location on your hard drive or on your network and put it anywhere you want. I have a separate folder just for service packs called ACAD_SP. If you have already downloaded the service pack then look at your browser > Options > Downloads. The path to the folder should be shown. You can change this to anything that makes more sense to you or leave it alone. Quote
Rage221677 Posted May 8, 2013 Author Posted May 8, 2013 Thank you for your help. I'm still having trouble locating the location but I'm sure I'll figure it out. Thank you both for your help. Quote
ReMark Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 You're stumbling when you should be flying. AutoCAD 2011? Can I assume it was update 2? The file name would have been AutoCAD2011Update2x32(or 64).exe. Use Windows Explorer to search your hard drive. Make sure you set it to display known file types. Easy as pie. Quote
