Having Trouble Creating an Edge

Afternoon,

This is my first time on CADTutor and hoping to receive some much needed assistance.

For a while now I have been attempting to resolve a a part of my CAD drawing. As seen below I have a 3D Solid. The part circled is result of subtracting a cylinder from the shape. I am now trying to find a solution to make both the above and below edges of the dotted line meet as one while maintaining the curve I have subtracted. Unfortunately, I cannot come up with an answer. I attempted to chamfer the edge but found this at difficulty. Am I going about this wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

I hope that I have explained this well.

Thanks

Hard to tell what you have in an image, would be better to post the model.

I have attached the DWG for better reference. This is a piece for a friend to clarify what I am making it for.

Is this a student project?

Sweep two lines as surfaces and the slice.

I will refer to my textbook for what you speak of. If you have/know of any references (YouTube videos, etc) please link them. Thank you for your help!

You will need to Loft rather then Sweep.

I would do 1/4 and then mirror twice (you have already done way too much work - use mirrors and arrays for symmetrical geometry).

Thank you! I will try this tonight. I hope I didn't create too much unnecessary work. I only created the largest piece. Everything else was copied or scaled.
