pefi
As in the title, expected result in attached drawing. I'm trying to change Origin X /Y, but that doesn't change the origin of the hatch. It there a setting that controls it? P.S. Is that drawing supposed to be 0.8Mb?? Funny enough purging made it even bigger hatch.dwg
resullins
I believe you can highlight the hatch and move the round grip to the origin you want.
pefi
It moves the whole hatch for me
resullins
Hover over the grip for a second, and you should get a menu by your cursor that includes Hatch Origin. Select that and then select a new origin point.
pefi
Thanks! I got there from right click menu and when i use "set origin" it works fine - that kind of solves my problem (trial and error to get it right, but at least I can modify the origin). However making changes in Properties window doesn't work - typing value, picking point, using calc to set value - none works.
irneb
That is a bit strange, Could you try by using the HEdit command? It should bring up the old hatch edit dialog.

From hedit window: "Click to set new origin" doesn't change anything, but "Default to boundary extents" changes the origin. Does it work for you? pefi
Yes it works fine for me in ACad 2014. OK, looks like 2012 is broken or I have a broken installation (or using tablet somehow breaks this feature)
