a strange line

What command did you used? Is clear that is a sloped line, but why is like that depends on your draw approach.

  • If you used the RECTANGLE command, then most probably your UCS is slightly rotated. Call UCS with World option to fix it.
  • If this is the result of a LINE or PLINE call, then check the points or lengths you inputted. Do you had Ortho mode activated?

It may help to post here that sketch.

I was just trying to draw a rectangular by line command but ortho wasn't activated.

If you inputted length of edges by direct distance entry method without Ortho activated, then may be possible that all edges were sloped. Please check these tutorials on AutoCAD input:

Please don't quote the previous message, since this will just make the thread difficult to follow.

Do not draw what you think of as straight lines unless you either have orthomode enabled or are using polar tracking otherwise you end up with a case of the "jaggies".

But polar tracking and probably object snap was activated only ortho was not activated. I think edge points of rectagular was not aligned.
