purge, -purge

purge will give you the dialog box, -purge will show at the command line. -purge will show you extra things that can be purged but they are not included in the 'all' option.

One of the recommended procedures I've seen to clean out a drawing files goes like this.

 

Run Overkill to remove overlapping and duplicate lines.

Run -Purge...purging Regapps first.

Repeat -Purge but this time do a purge > All.

Run the Audit command. Say "yes" to fixing errors.

Zoom extents.

Save.

Repeat the entire procedure.

Done.

So I can use either purge either -purge,all,*,n. There are no point to make both commands?

 

 

 

Psst, I thnk you missed something...
