Family parameters export/import ?

Hi,

This is a shot in the dark but is it possible to export/import parameters (specifically shared parameters) from one family to another.

I have searched and it appears Autodesk supplied a plugin for subscription users to do this a while ago but it's not available now, unless I'm not looking in the correct place.

Any help will be appreciated

Here's a couple, but there are many types out there:

and

Also you can use the Export Parameters tool which is a built-in function of the Shared Parameters File.

My problem is I'm using Revit LT at the moment and it does not allow external add-ins to be used.

All I want to do is import a family file shared parameters and it's values into a another family file, is this possible?

Shared Parameters are pulled from a single source *.txt file that is mapped from Manage Tab > Shared Parameters. Once this is mapped, you can use the Export option when you select a parameter and click Modify.

Ok thanks, I understand now.

Would be nice to be able to export a batch of them at once but I guess I would need to upgrade and use the available plugins.
