yawdapaah Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Hi all, i am trying to create a layer filter, which excludes layers with XREF in their name. Is there a way to do this, maybe with Boolean ops? Thanks. Yaw Quote
ReMark Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 I don't use layer filters but do they except the use of wildcards? Example: *-xref Quote

Dipali Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 yes, remark they do accept wildcard characters but here OP wants to exclude it. it is sort of invert filter. I mean op can creat filter of *xref* & thna can tickmark on invert filter button in layer manager dialoguebox. but if this layers are part of xref, thna simply click on xref in dialoguebox, so it will show only layers of all the x-ref & than click 'invert filter' so it will show the layers of the host drawing excluding xre layers. I use this method often to sort out laye issues. Quote
