addesigns
Does anyone have a work around that they can suggest for General Notes and Special Inspections that involve sub categories of text. Currently I got my office too shift to using a schedule with two columns, and everyone loves it and it works great. Anyone have a suggestion besides just using OTB Text in revit for subcategories. If not no biggie we can continue to use the text but I wanted to be more of a hero than i already am
tzframpton
That's one way to do it. There's another trick too though... when you have a block of text placed, and you adjust the width, deactivate the text. Now, type ZS to Zoom Scale. When the zoom has adjusted, don't re-zoom in or out, and reactivate the text. Now, you can use Enter and Tab for placement for sub-categories of text perfectly spaced. But, I've heard rumors that in the next release, or maybe two, Revit's finally getting a WYSIWYG text editor. So the above will still apply to older versions.
