chubarka
Hello, Does anyone here know if a rectangle can be drawn, say 6" by 5", then extruded to 1/8" in thickness, then by the use of the hem tool curl the rectangle perfectly round to form a cylinder? I know this is a strange idea since it is easy enough to extrude a cylinder from two round lines leaving 1/8" in between lines, I do have a reason however. shift1313
i'm pretty sure the answer is no. The hem tool doesn't really take a shape like a rectangle and force it into a formed cylinder. Really the best option for something like that is Lofted-Bend since there are several options for how to do a bent or formed version of it. Can you give me more info about how/why you take a rectangle and form it into a cylinder?
