russ1234
hi all hopefully you can help. I'm running autocad 2015 and when i go from 2d into 3d the mouse pointer no longer lines up with the cross-hairs. any help would be a great help as this is making life very frustrating. many thanks in advance Russell
ReMark
What are you doing when your mouse pointer is visible on screen? Are you in the drawing portion of your workspace or hovering over the Ribbon (or a palette)? Why does your profile say you are using AutoCAD 2016? russ1234
thanks for getting back to me. i am working in the drawing window. to explain, the cross-hair will be on one line and the highlighted selection will be about 1-2cm higher (same for when i go to the ribbon the pointer will be in the ribbon but the cross-hair will be allot lower) this only happens once im in 3d view
ReMark
It isn't anything I've ever noticed and I have been using 2015 since it first was released. My guess would be either it is a problem with your mouse or some kind of glitch with your graphics card. Did you try swapping out the mouse? What mouse is being used? Maybe it is a driver issue. When did you first notice this anomaly? BTW...did you install the service pack for 2015?
TheCADnoob
is the behavior replicated in all views like wireframe, conceptual, hidden, etc.?
Tyke
I had just this problem on one of the CAD stations in the office. I replaced the graphics card and it went away. First try installing the latest version of your graphic card'd driver. If your computer has an on-board graphics card you could have a problem.
