sanchez
Will someone please show me how to measure an arc,(part of a circle) and the perimeter of a circle in Solidworks? Thank you, Diego
sanchez
I suppose I should have said that I am looking for the length of the arc and the length (circumference) of a circle. Sorry Diego
JD Mather
I assume you are in an active sketch. Select the Dimension command. Click first endpoint of the arc. Click the second endpoint of the arc. Select the arc. Now you should see the arc length dimension.

shift1313
in addition to what JD said which is how you dimension the arc length, if you are in the part(not the sketch) and are trying to measure a circular edge use the measure tool. Depending on which version of SW you are using it might be in different places. On 2015 and older you should see it just under the TOOLS drop down menu or on Evaluate tab. In 2016 they tucked it away but it will still be on evaluate. When you select a circular edge it will give you the Length and its diameter(or radius if its not a full circle).
