gluebar
I'm trying to figure out how to scale features on a cone. See photo. I have the feature, a box in this example, being replicated with a rectangle and circle pattern on a cone. As the rows of boxes are replicated up the cone the geometry of the cone becomes larger but the patterned box feature does not. Is there anyway to have features scale appropriately according to the geometry it's being patterned on? If I were doing this on a cylinder this would be easy, but the changing shape of the cone makes it difficult. May there also be a way to do this on a cylinder and then warp/shrink the bottom of the cylinder to become a cone?
JD Mather
Are you really using 2013? If not, if you are using a later release - attach your *.ipt file here.
