Stretch vertical using chain

Hi all

I have a simple block in the attached file.

I would like to use the vertical grip to stretch the block down and at the same time, stretch it diagonally, maintaining the angle and width.

The attached drawing as a block in 3 states.

1. As is.

2. Stretched using the vertical grip.

3. Stretched using the diagonal grip

No. 2 is what I want to get right because I will eventually hide the diagonal grip when its correct.

So if I select the vertical grip and stretch it down, I would like it to act as No. 3 where the diagonal stretches along the diagonal lines.

If I stretch this grip, the diagonal lines do not extend and the angle changes.

Hope you understand!

I used a chain action for the diagonal parameter.

I have tried geometry and dim constraints and other actions but at a loss.

If anybody can point me in right direction - that would be great.

Thanks for your help.
