dirtlegg
I have 2 shapefiles I need to export into one... I used the map import for both bringing in the data with them which all data shows up in the properties. All good. When I use mapexport to try and combine them, I pick all attributes from both files and export, but when I re-import into a clean drawing I get 2 sets of polylines still with original attributes. What I need is one set of polylines with all attributes from both original files linked to one set of polylines. Does this make sense?? And how in the heck can I get this to work?? I must have done this a thousand times with the same result...it's driving me mad!! Civil 3d 2012
SLW210
I moved your thread to the Civil 3D & LDD Forum since it appears to be a Civil 3D question.
Pointdump
Todd, In Civil 3D, I'd have to scratch my head and say, "Well, maybe you might.........." But in free QGIS it's fairly straightforward. If you are bound and determined to do it in C3D, post your question in the Map 3D Forum: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-map-3d-forum/bd-p/85?nobounce= Dave
