Does it look any better in 2Dwireframe?

Not much of a helix. It ends up looking more like one of those fun straws kids like to drink their soda through. Here's what a small portion of it looks like.

I replied regarding you helix problem in my last post. It is possible to get a workable solution. As for the other request I'm still doing a background check.

Try setting VIEWRES to its max of 20000 and ISOLINES to 500.

What are your system specs?

A different view of things. 2D and 3D.

I haven't fared much better than what I posted previously. I think it may have something to do with the extremely small dimensions you are utilizing. The results seem best viewed in 2Dwireframe. Once I switch to a realistic or conceptual view 99% of the time the geometry goes whacko. It's a problem that I'm not interested in spending any more time on at the moment. I'll continue to mull it over in my mind though and if a different approach pops into my head then I may have another go at it.

This is what my last 2Dwireframe attempt looked like.
