How to rotate project north using reference planes?

When rotating a model to project north you only get 90°, 180° and the align option. The help section mentions the use of reference planes if some other angle is desired. I'm in a situation where I would like to rotate it counter clockwise about 130 degrees, but I can't determine how to use reference planes to achieve this. Could anyone help me on that?

Woah... are you trying to rotate the coordinate system, or are you simply trying to rotate your view? I would be very careful in relocating the project coordinate system itself, which is what you're about to do. Since MEP disciplines usually are not the driving force of the coordinate system and in most cases are Linking in an architectural or structural model then you should be on Shared Coordinates, in which you will not want to disturb your internal coordinate system.

You can rotate any view to the desired angle as you choose by simply rotating a Crop Boundary or placing a Scope Box and rotating it as needed.

I am not a Revit user but like tzframpton we keep everything as true co-ordinates never rotating a job or moving it, I use Autocad so we use the UCS to get the same effect or like Tz use a view to change your orientation for viewing and plotting purposes.
