Summary (Properties) of the objects

Hello anyone;

 

In a folder more than 50 dwgs. are there which done by someone else

now I need to work on that Project, I need a lisp which will run through the drawings and create a report with txt file (etc. like objects properties or list)

1.) Xref dwg details with it's position (X,Y) coordinates

2.) dwg base point details

3.) Title Attribute block base point details

4.) Xref layer setting

So that with the report I can correct the errors, to use some of the scripts programs or lisps to work through the drawings......

Need to get information from title blocks?

Did you google for each item they are all out there. Like Maratovich need to know title block name in each layout.

 

Just need a simple script you can open 1 output file and put all the data into it.

I have to work on a new project which done by others, I what to find out the errors and fix it

Example etc,

1.) If the dwg frame (Title block) xref base point position is not same for all dwgs I can't use a page setup file to all dwgs.

2.) Viewport scale errors (someone kept open the viewports, not locked) due to that error happen

3.) base point of the dwg

4.) Xref layers properties setting should be same for all dwgs

 

This will be a most useful for many people

Why do you think this is a mistake? Maybe it should be so.

paragraph. 3 - this does not affect printing.
paragraph. 4 - you can not change layers, it can be changed only inside the external link.

A. - explain why you need all this, it is an empty, unnecessary work.
B. - Attach an example of your file.

2. Why write to the file txt? Maybe you need to make the program right as you want?
