appling layer state on prefixed layer names

hi

im applying layer state file (las) on a drawing and its applying the layer setting when a layer with the same layer encountered, for example, if the layer "KAV-BINYAN" exist the mapping is applied as expected, but when it encounters a layer that was bound like "kav$0$KAV-BINYAN" that layer is not mapped. is there anything i can do so the prefix is ignored or something?

Thanks

Shay

Being able to apply layer states to either bound or xrefed layers would be a great Wish List item.  Most of us have needed this at one time or another.  I'd like to see them add another checkbox in the dialog box for it.

This may not be possible in your situation, but could you apply the layer state to the original drawing and save it? If not, can you save a copy of it? Just to check the obvious solution.

Maybe setting the layers by using a LAS then look at the layers that do not have a $ in them make a list the others make a 2nd list then compare the two lists looking for the layer name pattern without $ and set layers according to that.

To have a play need only a layer text file ie name on frozen colour etc for each layer after las is run but xrefs are wrong. Use lee-mac layerextract.lsp
